Cooking Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package directions in a large pot of salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
- While the pasta cooks, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then add garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet, then bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta and reserved pasta water to the skillet, then toss everything together until the pasta is well coated in the sauce.
- Stir in the fresh parsley, then season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can marinate the shrimp in a little olive oil, garlic powder, and paprika for 15 minutes before cooking. A sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese also makes a delicious finish to this dish.
