Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped fresh basil, and minced garlic.
  2. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste; gently toss to combine.
Toast the Baguette
  1. Preheat your oven or a toaster oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  3. Toast for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly crispy.

Notes
