Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover with cold water by one inch; bring to a rolling boil, then remove from heat, cover, and let stand for 5 minutes.
  2. Immediately transfer eggs to an ice bath for 2 minutes to stop cooking and cool them down; peel the cooled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  3. Gently scoop out the yolks into a small bowl, placing the egg white halves on a serving platter.
  4. Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth, then stir in mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until well combined and creamy.
Assembly
  1. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
  2. Garnish each deviled egg with a sprinkle of paprika before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a dash of hot sauce or a pinch of garlic powder to the yolk mixture. Ensure the eggs are completely cooled before peeling to prevent sticking.
