Preparation
- Slice the chicken breasts, bell peppers, and onion into thin strips.
- In a bowl, toss the sliced chicken with fajita seasoning and olive oil, ensuring it's well coated.
Cooking
- Heat a large skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned chicken to the hot pan and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through; remove from the pan.
- In the same pan, add the sliced bell peppers and onion; cook for 5-8 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked chicken to the pan with the vegetables and mix everything together.
Serving
- Warm the tortillas according to package instructions.
- Serve the chicken and vegetable mixture in warm tortillas with salsa and sour cream.
Notes
For an extra kick, add a pinch of chili flakes to the fajita seasoning. You can also marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes for deeper flavor.
