- Wash and thinly slice the cucumber; gently crush the mint leaves to release their aroma.
- Combine the sliced cucumber and crushed mint leaves in a pitcher or large jar.
- Pour 8 cups of cold water over the cucumber and mint, then stir gently.
- Refrigerate the infused water for at least 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to meld, or for a stronger flavor, let it infuse overnight.
Notes
For an extra touch, you can add a few slices of lemon or lime to the infused water. This recipe is also great for making in a large batch for parties or gatherings. Remember to remove the cucumber and mint after 24 hours to prevent bitterness.
