Method
 

Growing Cabbage
  1. Start cabbage seeds indoors about 4-6 weeks before the last frost date to give them a head start.

  3. Transplant the seedlings outdoors when they are 4-6 inches tall, spacing them 18-24 inches apart.

Making Coleslaw
  1. Shred or thinly slice the freshly harvested cabbage, and if desired, add shredded carrots.

  3. Pour the dressing over the shredded cabbage and toss until thoroughly coated.
