Preparation
- Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle about 1/4 cup of cheese over half of it.
- Add a small amount of cooked chicken over the cheese, if desired.
- Fold the other half of the tortilla over the filling to create a half-moon shape.
Cooking
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the quesadilla from the skillet and cut it into wedges.
- Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling ingredients.
Serving
- Serve immediately with salsa or your favorite toppings.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add diced onions, bell peppers, or a pinch of chili powder to the filling. Adjust the amount of cheese and chicken to your preference.
