Preparation
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy skin. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C) and lightly oil the grates.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, chopped dill, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
Grilling
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the preheated grill. Cook for 5-7 minutes without moving.
- Carefully flip the salmon and grill for another 3-5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for 2-3 minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating the salmon for 30 minutes before grilling. Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
