  • 25 Hershey's Kisses, unwrapped

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in peanut butter, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place them about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Immediately press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each hot cookie.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra peanut butter flavor, use a crunchy peanut butter. Ensure butter is softened to room temperature for easier creaming. Do not overbake the cookies, as they will continue to set as they cool. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
