Method
 

Planting and Germination
  1. Fill biodegradable pots or seed trays with seed starting mix, then plant 1-2 tomato seeds per pot about 1/4 inch deep and lightly cover them with soil.
  2. Water the planted seeds gently, ensuring the soil is moist but not waterlogged, and place the pots under grow lights or in a warm, sunny window.
  3. Maintain consistent moisture and warmth (around 70-80°F or 21-27°C), and expect germination within 5-10 days, after which you can remove any weaker seedlings, leaving one strong plant per pot.
Care and Transplanting
  1. Once seedlings have two sets of true leaves, begin fertilizing with a diluted liquid fertilizer every two weeks, ensuring they receive at least 12-16 hours of light daily.
  2. Gradually introduce the plants to outdoor conditions over a week (hardening off) by placing them outside for increasing durations each day, then transplant them into larger containers or a garden bed when they are 6-8 inches tall and all danger of frost has passed.

Notes
