Preparation
  1. Cook chicken breasts in chicken broth until thoroughly cooked, then remove and shred, reserving the broth.

  4. Bring the reserved chicken broth to a simmer in the pot with the sautéed vegetables.
Cooking
  1. Drop spoonfuls of dumpling dough into the simmering broth, then add the shredded chicken back to the pot.
  2. Cover and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the dumplings are cooked through and fluffy.
