Dough Preparation

  2. Whisk in melted butter, remaining sugar, egg, and salt.
  3. Gradually add flour, mixing until a shaggy dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
Assembly and Baking

  2. Spread softened butter evenly over the dough, then sprinkle with a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Roll the dough tightly from the long edge and cut into 4 equal slices.
  4. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Icing Preparation

  2. Spread the icing over the warm cinnamon rolls and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra fluffy rolls, ensure your yeast is fresh and active. Do not overmix the dough. Adjust milk in icing for desired consistency.
