Servings: 3 plants

Ingredients

Planting Materials
  • 3 Strawberry Lemonade plant starts
  • 3 Gallon pots
  • 1 bag Potting soil
Nutrients and Care
  • 2 cups Slow-release fertilizer
  • Water as needed

Equipment

  • Gallon pots
  • Trowel

Method

Preparation
  1. Prepare your three gallon pots by filling each with high-quality potting soil, leaving about an inch from the rim. Ensure the soil is loose and well-aerated for optimal root growth.
Planting
  1. Gently remove each Strawberry Lemonade plant start from its nursery container, taking care not to disturb the roots. Create a small hole in the center of the soil in each pot and carefully place one plant in each.
Initial Care
  1. Backfill around the base of each plant with potting soil, gently firming it to remove air pockets. Water thoroughly until water drains from the bottom, and apply the slow-release fertilizer evenly around the base of each plant.
Ongoing Maintenance
  1. Place your potted plants in a location that receives at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Water regularly, ensuring the soil remains consistently moist but not waterlogged, and monitor for pests and diseases, addressing any issues promptly.

Notes

For best results, consider companion planting with other beneficial plants like basil or marigolds to deter pests naturally. Rotate your plants periodically to ensure even sun exposure and growth.
