Preparation
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cooking Chicken
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
Making the Sauce
- Add remaining butter to the skillet along with minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes, until slightly thickened.
Finish and Serve
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve with rice or pasta to soak up the delicious sauce. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
