  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves, minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp, chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cooking Chicken
  1. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. Add remaining butter to the skillet along with minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Stir in lemon juice, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes, until slightly thickened.
Finish and Serve
  1. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with rice or pasta to soak up the delicious sauce. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
