  • 1 whole Lime juiced
  • 0.25 cup Red Onion finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro fresh, chopped
  • 0.5 whole Jalapeño seeded and minced (optional)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper or to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Halve the avocados, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado flesh with a fork or potato masher to your desired consistency.
  3. Add the lime juice, diced red onion, chopped cilantro, minced jalapeño (if using), salt, and black pepper to the mashed avocado.
  4. Stir all ingredients together until well combined.
  5. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed, adding more salt, lime juice, or jalapeño to your preference.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of cumin or a diced tomato. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos and burritos. To prevent browning, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole before refrigerating.
