Ingredients
  

Ranch Dressing Starter
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup Sour Cream
  • 2 tbsp Dill freshly chopped
  • 2 tbsp Chives freshly chopped
  • 2 tbsp Parsley freshly chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper

Method
 

The Growing Process
  1. Combine all ingredients in a clean jar and mix thoroughly until well combined.
  2. Cover the jar loosely with a lid or cloth to allow air circulation.
  3. Let it sit at room temperature for 12-24 hours, or until it reaches desired tanginess and thickness.
  4. Stir occasionally during the culturing process.
  5. Once fermented, transfer the dressing to an airtight container and refrigerate.

Notes

The longer the dressing sits at room temperature, the tangier and thicker it will become. Adjust herbs and spices to your preference. This fermented ranch dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
