Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine sliced chicken breast with shawarma seasoning, olive oil, lemon juice, and minced garlic; mix well to coat the chicken.
  2. Alternatively, you can marinate the chicken with plain yogurt, white vinegar, oregano, cumin, paprika, and optional cayenne pepper for a richer flavor.
Cooking
  1. Heat a large skillet or non-stick pan over medium-high heat, then add the marinated chicken.
  2. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the chicken is fully cooked through and browned.
Assembly
  1. Warm the pita bread as per package instructions or briefly in a dry skillet.
  2. Fill each pita with a generous amount of cooked chicken, then add sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and a drizzle of tahini sauce.
