- Add the beaten egg, bread crumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, fresh dill, and lemon juice to the salmon.
- Mix all ingredients gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix, then divide the mixture into 7 equal portions and shape them into patties.
Cooking
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat with a tablespoon of olive oil or butter.
- Carefully place the salmon patties in the hot skillet, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through, then serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce or a fresh salad.
Notes
For extra crispiness, you can lightly dust the patties with a bit more bread crumbs before frying. These patties are excellent served with a side of tartar sauce or a squeeze of fresh lemon.
